Slouchy Hat Pattern
Published by Shana | Filed under Free, Knitting, Patterns
I made a Star Crossed beret and had a coworker ask for one for his wife. Since knitting the exact same thing twice in one week sounds about as much fun as rollerskating in traffic, I decided to modify the pattern for a slip stitch pattern. The yarn I used has a nice gloss to it due to the bamboo, so a flatter design would compliment it.
Putting this forth as a pattern is a bit silly, since it’s really just a variation, but hey, it’s free. The complaint department is standing by.

I don't see a definition for the abbreviation 'wyif'. Can someone tell me what that means? Thanks!

With Yarn in Front. You hold the yarn in front of the stitches as you slip them so it runs across the right side.
