Roomy

My craft room is finished enough. I still want to hang some shelves, but last time I tried, I punched a hole in the wall. I’m thinking I can live without shelves.
I’m pretty proud of this. It took all my nascent interior design skills. I took 2 sizes of glasses and some vases, put rocks in the bottom, and filled them with my needles, hooks and scraps of yarn. It’s a pretty cool looking way to keep my needles together.
There’s an ironing board to the right you can’t see. This is a good thing. It is ugly, much like sin and death. The shelf I was hoping to hang when I punched a hole in the wall was meant to be over it to hold the iron. Alas.
The quilt on the chair is affectionately named “The Seizure Quilt”. Look at it long enough and you vomit. But it’s the quilt that got me sewing again and it’s warm, so I keep it.
You can see where the shelf is in the upper right, over the TV and radio. You can also check out my sweet 15 year old Bernina I liberated from my mom.
